Where & how to get cheap Christmas dinner vegetables from only 19p!
Only 6 days left till Christmas and some of us are still have to do a last minute Christmas food shop. The good news is that this is the best time to shop for Christmas dinner vegetables, with supermarkets massively slashing their prices of their Christmas veggies to as low as 19p per bag! Who doesn’t love a bargain, especially during this time of the year with presents to buy and increased heating costs.
I’ve done my food shopping last night and was able to benefit from the supermarket price war. With so many vegetables such as carrots, potatoes, sprouts etc. for sale at a very low price, I’m hoping you too can get a great deal and save a lot of money!
I’ve had a look at the Christmas veg deals of different supermarkets such as Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, M&S, Asda and Waitrose to find you the cheapest Christmas veg deals.
Don’t forget to put out a carrot for Rudolph.

Stock up while the deal is on!
With low prices, I recommend to stock up on some veg that can be stored for a long time while the festive offer is still on. I’ve bought enough to feed 9 people for our Christmas dinner and bought an extra bag of potatoes, carrots and parsnips. Potatoes, carrots and parsnips can be kept for 2-3 weeks if kept in a cool dark place.
If you love your roast or soups as much as I do and have it once a week, then it’s definitely worth getting an extra bag of the veg. However I don’t recommend stocking up too much to prevent any food waste.
